Maya
Welcome to my corner of the internet, where I share my passion for Qigong Meditation and healthy lifestyle! My name is Maya, and I have dedicated the past 20 years of my life to the transformative practices of Qigong meditation. My path is dedicated to helping individuals embark on their journeys toward health and self-discovery.
My journey in meditation has been nothing short of incredible. Over the years, I have immersed myself in numerous meditation retreats, gaining invaluable insights and experiences.
I have also had the privilege of working as an organizer and translator for many of advanced seminars and retreats, allowing me to share the wisdom of Qigong with a broader audience.
This very unique role has deepened my understanding of the practice and its teachings, and I am passionate about helping others discover the benefits of Qigong meditation.
My Teacher is Qigong Grandmaster Xu Mingtang (link), and I share the values of health, happiness and wisdom as a path of Spiritual practitioner. Being Image Medicine Therapist, I believe in the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit, and I strive to help others tap into this connection for their own well-being.
Currently, I am expanding my knowledge by studying Sowa Rigpa, an ancient Tibetan healing system that emphasizes mental health and well-being. My goal is to become a Sowa Rigpa Counsellor, further enriching my ability to support individuals on their paths to health and fulfillment. I firmly believe that mental health is just as crucial as physical health, and my education in Sowa Rigpa will enhance my capacity to guide others through their healing journeys.
For me, daily meditation is not just a practice; it is a necessity—a cornerstone of a healthy and fulfilling life. It has the power to unlock one’s abilities and foster a deep connection with oneself. One of my core values is "Health as Process," which reflects my belief that health is an ongoing journey rather than a destination. Each day presents new opportunities for growth, healing, and self-discovery.
My mission here and now is to inspire others to embrace this journey of health and self-exploration. Through my online courses on Qigong practice, meditation, and healthy living, I aim to create a supportive community where individuals can learn, grow, and thrive together. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just beginning your journey, I invite you to join me in exploring the transformative power of Qigong and meditation.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

From a young age, I dreamt of making a positive impact on people's lives. My academic journey led me to earn a degree in Law, but deep down, I felt unfulfilled and plainly battling depression. The thought of continuing down a path as a lawyer felt stifling and unhelpful, leaving me yearning for a more meaningful way to serve others.
Just before graduation, I enrolled in my first Zhong Yuan Qigong course. This moment marked a profound turning point in my life. Although I didn't feel immediate results, within a few months, I discovered a new courage within me—I applied for a Master's in Theory of Culture and a Master's in Asian Studies, aspirations I had never even dared to consider six months prior! The energy and Qi of Qigong gave me the courage to pursue my true passions.
My journey led me to China, where I immersed myself in the culture and language, becoming fluent in Chinese. Upon returning to Latvia, I found my calling as a Zhong Yuan Qigong instructor and became part of the Ortganizational Team of events for Grandmaster Xu Mingtang, including a significant international conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Image Medicine.
Continuing my studies in Beijing, I trained in Image Medicine and became a certified Image Therapist, currently holding a 3rd level certification. I also expanded my expertise in Western Medicine by becoming a Massage Therapist. Over the past 10 years, I've developed my Zhong Yuan Qigong teaching practice, offering Levels 1, 2, and 3, along with transformative retreats. Recently, I had the honor of leading my first international ZYQ retreat in Madeira.
Today, I could not imagine a more fulfilling life than guiding others to become healthier, happier, and more aware of themselves. My mission is to empower individuals to follow their own spiritual development paths, and I am committed to helping you discover your potential and embrace well-being.
Thank you for being here.
Together, let’s embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery!
